I am happy, on the occasion of the 11th annual fantasia festival, to welcome the many fans of a film genre that transports us to a realm in which the imagination reigns and enhances our artistic senses.

Congratulations to the organizers of this festival, which is the largest of its kind in North America. This event not only contributes to the wealth of summer cultural events offered throughout our metropolis, but to Montréal’s international reputation. We are, accordingly, pleased to provide our support to it.
