Far, far away in a distant universe, an evil being from the planet Ultra in the M78 Nebula has been defeated and denied world domination. He is Ultraman Belial, a former member of the Ultra Garrison, protectors of the universe. Having survived his battle with Ultraman Zero, Belial has escaped into an alternate universe from which he is now trying to conquer all as Galactic Emperor Kaizer Belial.
Back in Nebula M78, the Land of Light, homeworld of the Ultramen, is attacked by one of Belial’s robotic weapons. Luckily, Ultraman Zero shows up with his father Ultraseven and destroy the invading mecha. The Ultras come to a conclusion that it came from an alternate universe, so the brotherhood must unite its powers to send one of its elite warriors in the pursuit of Belial. Of course, it is Ultraman Zero who volunteers to travel to the distant star. Ultraseven gives his son a newly crafted Ultra Zero Bracelet before he departs, an item that acts as a backup power source should Zero run out of energy. Unfortunately, it can only be used three times…
2013 marks the 50th anniversary of Tsuburaya Productions, founded by Eiji Tsuburaya — the special effects wizard who gave us the original GODZILLA in 1954. Established in 1963, the company poured three years of preparation into its first television series, ULTRA Q. It was the Japanese answer to shows like THE TWILIGHT ZONE and OUTER LIMITS, and paved the way for the first and greatest Japanese giant superhero ULTRAMAN in 1967. To celebrate its half-century of history, Tsuburaya offers a brand new series of 12 exciting science fiction adventures into the realms of the imagination. Fantasia is proud to offer its devotees an exclusive opportunity to see an episode of it with English subtitles. ULTRAMAN ZERO: THE REVENGE OF BELIAL is the second release in Tsuburaya’s history in which the action all takes place in outer space and on other worlds. Amazing digital and practical effects are combined to create a whole new level of excitement in this all-action sci-fi thriller. After all these years, Tsuburaya proves that there are still new stories to be told!
