Neo Ultra Q
In a not too distant future that differs little from the present, monstrosities attack a parallel world where the balance of nature is tipping. Psychological counsellor Haibara Jin (Tanabe Seiichi), travel writer Watarase Emiko (Takanashi Rin) and the owner of the bar Tobira, Shiroyama Shohei (Onoue Hiroyuki) – three people with completely different backgrounds and mindsets – are drawn to these baffling incidents. Helped by Haibara’s former teacher, Professor Yashima, the trio engage with forces beyond human understanding!
2013 marks the 50th anniversary of Tsuburaya Productions, founded by Eiji Tsuburaya — the special effects wizard who gave us the original GODZILLA in 1954. Established in 1963, the company poured three years of preparation into its first television series, ULTRA Q. It was the Japanese answer to shows like THE TWILIGHT ZONE and OUTER LIMITS, and paved the way for the first and greatest Japanese giant superhero ULTRAMAN in 1967. To celebrate its half-century of history, Tsuburaya offers a brand new series of 12 exciting science fiction adventures into the realms of the imagination. Fantasia is proud to offer its devotees an exclusive opportunity to see two episodes from this series with English subtitles, along with the feature film Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial .
